Our History

As founder and Director of RiverBend Associates, Inc., Laura is a Business Consultant as well as an Adjunct Professor. She is a designer, facilitator and strategist of organizational and individual change and development. RiverBend reflects the values that made Laura start her own company - including customized client focused consulting and design, as well as a commitment to continued growth and development and leading edge technology.

Laura has a Master's Degree from Harvard University focused on Adult and Organizational Development and Cross Cultural Counseling, As a visiting Professor at SUFE - Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, she taught Organizational Behavior in the Accelerated MBA Program. Laura has also designed and taught a Leadership Program at the Isle of Man International School of Business (on the Isle of Man in the Irish Sea). She is certified in MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator).

Bringing over 25 years of Business Consulting through her own company and in collaboration with others, clients have included Pfizer, Microsoft, Texas Instruments, NorthWest Airlines, Barclay International, Fidelity Investments, Simmons College, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Neal Massey Wood Group in Trinidad, Bank of Boston, National Grid, Thyssencrupp, Georgia Power, Texaco, Harvard School of Public Health, Middlesex Community College Business and Industry Program, Chesterfield County Schools, Union of Concerned Scientists, Spotsylvania County Schools, Phillip Morris and many others.
